Mining floodlight VELAN 23-PR-Sh

Purpose

Floodlights VELAN23-PR-Sh can be used both for stationary local lighting in coal beds and in other places being hazardous by explosion hazardous gas (methane-containing mixtures), coal dust, etc. according to explosion protection marking.

• Floodlight can be adjusted by vertical slope angle within the range from -30° to +30°.
• Side cover ensures the possibility of quick and convenient lamp installation and replacement.

Design

Floodlights of VELAN23-PR-Sh type have rectangular body with “explosionproof enclosure” type of explosion protection consisting of two compartments: light source compartment and gland compartment. Floodlight is installed on special stand. Light transmitting element made of heat-resistant glass is protected with grating made of galvanized steel. In light source compartment ceramic bulb holder, lamp and reflector are located. Terminal clamps in the gland compartment. Depending on type of used lamp cable is connected directly into floodlight gland compartment or through separate body with start control gear consisting of throttle, impulse starting device and compensator.
